Richards With Another Assist

Brad Richards continued his hot streak Tuesday with an assist to extend his point streak to four games. He has four goals and four assists over that span. He was a plus-2 in 21:03.

Richards’ highest point streak as a Ranger came last year when he registered a point in seven straight.

Zucc Adds Another Assist

Forward Mats Zuccarello picked up an assist and was credited with four hits and two blocked shots in a career-high 21:06 of ice time. The winger has five points in his last five games.

Moore Offense

Defenseman John Moore registered an assist and two hits in 13:28 of ice time. He has five points and a plus-7 rating in 11 games with the Rangers. He had one assist and was a minus-5 in 17 games as a Columbus Blue Jacket.

Girardi Sets Career-high

Defenseman Dan Girardi registered eight shots on goal, which was a career high. His previous high was six, which he set on Nov. 30, 2008, and again on Jan. 15, 2011 against the Montreal Canadiens.

As a team, the Rangers out-shot the Panthers 38-16, including 10-2 in the first period and 17-8 in the third.

Markstrom Stands Tall Again

Florida netminder Jacob Markstrom had his second strong game against the Rangers in just over a month. In two starts, the 23-year-old made 80 saves on 83 Rangers shots. He made 36 Tuesday night and 44 at Madison Square Garden on March 21.
