No. 1: Brad Richards (4G, 3A, 7 Pts)

If the Rangers are going to make a playoff run they needed everyone firing on all cylinders. Maybe the most important cylinder on the team is Brad Richards, who exploded this week with four goals, including his first NHL hat trick Friday night against the Sabres. Richards followed that up by notching two key assists in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Devils, which officially eliminated New Jersey from playoff contention. He had three multi-point games this week, and was named the NHL's second star of the week.

Richards has found himself on the ice in recent games, a sign that he’s getting his play back to where he and the Rangers expect it to be. If he can be the game-changer Rangers fans know he can be, the Blueshirts will make life even more difficult for opponents in their final week of the regular season, and, hopefully, the playoffs.
