Rangers-Chris Kreider: After notching a goal and three assists in six games since being sent down to the minors, Kreider is back with the big club, taking the place of the injured Brian Boyle. Will he play a limited role on the fourth line? Or will the Rangers top pick in the 2009 NHL Draft be handed a larger responsibility in Boyle's spot on the third line? That is going to be an interesting question for John Tortorella to answer considering the magnitiude of each and every game the Raners play down the stretch with their playoff lives hanging in the balance. Kreider has two goals and three points while playing in 17 games with the Rangers, and did have more of an impact on a more consistent basis during his most recent call-up from Connecticut.

Panthers-Tomas Fleischmann: The Panthers leading scorer this season with 30 points (9-21-30), Fleischmann has scored on a very similar pace through 42 games this season as he did a year ago, his first in Florida, when he notched a career-high 61 points (27-34-61) in 82 games. The 28 year-old Fleischmann has been on a roll of late, picking up a pair of assists Tuesday against the Islanders and totaling ten points (3-7-10) in his last nine games.
