Players To Watch

Rangers-Brad Richards: You can see it in how he is carrying himself off the ice and what he is saying to the media recently. And you can most definitely see it with his play on the ice. Brad Richards' game is coming, and none too soon with only ten games remaining in the regular season. The Rangers star center has had his struggles offensively this season, but plays like his gorgeous feathered pass on Derek Stepan's goal Saturday in Carolina are now becoming the norm. Richards now has five points (1-4-5) in his last four games and seven points (2-5-7) in his last eight matches. Richards now has 17 assists, one behind team-leader Rick Nash who has 18.

Maple Leafs-James Reimer: Toronto may not have landed Roberto Luongo last summer or at the trade deadline, but things have worked out quite well between the pipes for the Maple Leafs because Reimer has turned in a solid season to date. In 24 appearances Reimer has compiled an impressive 14-5-4 record with 2.52 goals against average and .919 save percentage. He has won three of his last four starts and has been consistently good all year. He has put his sophomore slump from 2011-12 behind him---he had only 14 wins and a 3.10 goals against average after bursting on the scene as a rookie two years ago with 20 wins and a 2.60 goals against average---and has helped lead the Maple Leafs right into playoff contention this season.
