"We just basically walked in here, met everyone, jumped into the warm-ups and we played a game. You play your best games, sometimes, when you don't worry about anything and you just play your game. That's what happened tonight." - Derick Brassard
After arriving just 15 minutes before game time on Wednesday against Pittsburgh, Derick Brassard and John Moore came ready to play. The only advice head coach John Tortorella gave them prior to hitting the ice was to have fun. Brassard would tally a goal and three assists — a career-high four points — in his Rangers' debut and Moore added his first goal of the season before the night was through, combining for five points on the night. That is certainly a lot of fun for one evening, and quite the memorable debut in blue.
