No. 2: Rick Nash (8g, 6a, 14p)

Rick Nash continues to prove his worth for the Rangers night after night, especially in March when he posted 14 points in 14 games — including two, two-goal games. Nash has an ability like few others to single handedly take control of games, which he showed on March 5 against the Philadelphia Flyers when he scored two third period goals to break a 2-2 tie and give the Rangers a 4-2 lead they would not surrender. He did it again on March 19 against the Devils when he snapped the game-winning goal past Johan Hedberg to give the Rangers a 3-2.

His presence in the shootout, most notably his jaw-dropping moves against the Islanders and Hurricanes, gives the team an advantage whenever the skills competition is needed for a win.
His skills can not be denied, and his presence on the ice often forces opponents to focus their attention on him, creating chances for others on his line, namely Derek Stepan and Carl Hagelin, both of whom have benefitted greatly from playing on his line.
