Rangers-Ryan Callahan: The Blueshirts captain has gone eight straight games without scoring a goal, and is stuck on nine for the season---third most on the team. He also only has two assists in that same span. While the Rangers love all the intangibles Callahan brings to the game each and every night, they quite simply need him to start scoring more goals now. A team-high five of his goals have come on the power play, and that'd be a good place to start in order to get the Blueshirts offense going again. Perhaps playing the Jets will awaken Callahan's offensive game. He has scored eight goals in his last 11 matches against the Jets---including one in each contest against Winnipeg this season.
Jets-Olli Jokinen: The ex-Ranger seems to save his best for his former team. Though limited to just seven goals and 11 points in 36 games this season, Jokinen has two goals and three points in the two games against New York. He scored twice in the 4-3 Winnipeg win at The Garden on February 26th, and assisted on Andrew Ladd's empty-netter in Winnipeg on March 14th. Though a team-worst -17 this year, Jokinen does still rank fourth on the Jets with his seven goals, and he has scored twice in his last three games entering play tonight.
