Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist did not have much time to get himself settled Thursday night in Ottawa because just 40 seconds into the game he was called upon to make a pair of extremely difficult saves. First, rookie Mike Hoffman is all alone for a shot from the slot, which Lundqvist kicks away, then Daniel Alfredsson is on the rebound and Lundqvist scrambles to his right to make another scintillating stop. Lundqvist finished with 26 saves on the night in the Rangers 3-0 loss.
