Forward Mats Zuccarello made his season debut Saturday night and in the process set a career-high in hits with six. He finished with one shot in 18:16 of ice time, including 48 seconds on the Rangers' lone power play.

Boyle, Callahan, Pyatt Take the Body

Brian Boyle, Taylor Pyatt and Rangers captain Ryan Callahan each finished with five hits Saturday night. Boyle is ranked No. 7 in the NHL with 119 hits, while Callahan is No. 9 with 115. As a team, the Rangers are No. No. 3 with 1,027, behind Winnipeg and Toronto.

The Rangers as a team out-hit the Canadiens, 42-23, including 12 players who finished with two or more.

Eminger Blocking Shots

Defenseman Steve Eminger set a team-high with three blocked shots Saturday night, to go along with three shots and two hits in 18:53 of ice time.

Biron Gets Little Goal Support

For the second time in five starts — both against Montreal — Martin Biron received no goal support by his team. The previous time came on Feb. 23 against Montreal. Biron is 2-2-1 this season with a .917 save percentage and a 2.32 goals against average.
