Rangers: Forget Oh Canada! It's been Woe Canada for the Rangers this season. After Thursday's 3-0 loss to the Senators in Ottawa, the Rangers are just 1-6-1 in eight games against teams from Canada---Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Montreal. And the Rangers are winless in their last seven meetings with Canadian clubs since beating the Maple Leafs 5-2 at Madison Square Garden on January 26th. North of the border this season the Rangers are winless in four games (0-3-1) in the country of Canada, losing in regulation once each in Montreal and Winnipeg and going 0-1-1 in two visits to Ottawa.

Canadiens: Les Habitants have not lost on home ice to the Rangers in more than four years. The Canadiens last loss to the Rangers at the Bell Centre took place on March 17, 2009, a 4-3 Rangers win. Since then the Canadiens have won seven straight on home ice over the Rangers, including a 3-0 shutout on February 23rd of this year. Montreal has outscored New York 19-3 in that seven-game span, shutting out the Rangers four times.
