Tuesday Postgame Chatter

“ With goalies like Hank and Marty if we score five goals we're going to win every game. Today was one of those days. ”
- Carl Hagelin
“ It's a huge win. It just seemed like we had been getting the chances, but they just weren't going in (in previous games). When that happens you wait for one of these games, and finally it came. ”
- Rick Nash
“ I like to play these games: they are intense, and (the Flyers) are a good team, a little like us---we'd rather be in a batter spot, but we just battle right now for each point. ”
- Henrik Lundqvist

It was a great start to a three-game road trip Tuesday night when the Rangers rang up five goals in a 5-2 win over the Flyers in Philadelphia, only their third five-goal output of the season, and first since a 5-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on February 10th at The Garden.

Following the game BlueshirtsUnited.com caught up with Carl Hagelin---who earned an assist, tied for the team-high with five shots on goal, and was a +3, Rick Nash---who scored twice, including his 300th career goal, and Henrik Lundqvist---who backstopped the win with 32 saves, to discuss various aspects of the victory.
