Rangers: Head coach John Tortorella is one victory shy of 400 in his NHL coaching career. The 34th head coach in franchise history is the all-time winningest American-born coach in league history, placing just ahead of Flyers bench boss Peter Laviolette, and would obviously become the first-ever U.S.-born coach to reach the 400-win milestone. Torts owns an all-time record of 399-335-37-65, and is 160-113-1-27 as head coach of the Rangers.

Capitals: Braden Holtby’s four shutouts this season are more than Washington’s team leader had in that department in 23 of the team’s previous 37 seasons of existence. With seven career shutouts, Holtby has tied Michal Neuvirth and Pete Peeters for fifth on the franchise’s all-time list.
