Rangers-Martin Biron: It is not known if Biron will make the start in goal tonight, but the signs seem to be pointing that way. After Henrik Lundqvist somewhat surprisingly started against the Panthers Thursday---his sixth straight start---it seemed more likely that Biron would face the Capitals, what with the coaching staff not wanting him to go more than two weeks in between appearances. Biron last played two weeks ago in Washington, helping the Blueshirts best the Caps 4-1 with a rock solid 28-save performance. He has appeared in five games this season, making four starts, and is 2-1-1 with a 2.19 goals against average and .923 save percentage.

Capitals-Mike Ribeiro: The veteran forward arrived from the Dallas Stars this past summer and has played extremely well for the Capitals, leading the team with 34 points, and ranking fourth in the entire NHL with 24 assists. Half of his ten goals have been scored on the power play, though he has gone five games without scoring a goal. Ribeiro, who has a pair of three-point outings in 2013, does have five assists in his last four games, and is coming off a two-assist effort Friday in Winnipeg.
