The Rangers No. 1 defensive prospect, Dylan McIlrath, is finishing up his first regular season of professional hockey with the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League.
After surgery to repair a dislocated knee cap delayed the start of his season, McIlrath has been one of the Whale's most talented shutdown defensemen since joining the lineup.
