With a little more than three minutes remaining in the third period Thursday night in Winnipeg and the Rangers trailing the Jets by one goal, Henrik Lundqvist made a save that was not only impressive, but it was extremely timely, too. Evander Kane, who had burned Lundqvist and the Rangers for the game-winning score at The Garden a couple of weeks ago, had a clear breakaway Thursday looking to put the game away in the final minutes. But Lundqvist stood his ground and made an outstanding right-pad save on Kane, who had skated away from every Ranger on the ice to create his opportunity.
