Saturday Postgame Chatter

“ The difference between the two teams in the first period was obvious, but we recovered and played a lot better. ”
- Henrik Lundqvist
“ Unfortunately we can't find our offense now. I don't think it's a lack of confidence, we just need to find a way. We have to just keep trying to make plays and get offensive zone pressure. ”
- Dan Girardi
“ This is something I've dreamed about since I can remember (playing in Pittsburgh). I had been to a million games in the old rink, sitting there thinking it'd be cool to have everyone watching me out there. And today my friends and family go to do that. Just wish we could've had a better result. ”
- J.T. Miller

It was a quiet Rangers dressing room Saturday afternoon after the team close dout its four-game road trip with a 3-0 loss in Pittsburgh.

Following the game, a dejected Henrik Lundqvist discussed the game, Dan Girardi spoke about the team's lack of offensive production---the team has scored just two goals in its last three games; and rookie J.T. Miller discussed living his childhood dream of playing in his hometown.
