“ It was brought up today pretty extensively, and now we're done with it. We got it out of the way immediately. ”

“ There’s a lot of games to be played. A lot of things can change good and bad. We were good today. I thought we had a good day today. I think our spirits are up, and then we’ll worry about tomorrow. ”
- John Tortorella
“ I’m not even looking at the standings. I try not to. I know everybody does because there’s so much talk about it. But I think you can take care of your business each and every day and things will fall into place, and that’s the way we’ve gone about it here for the past three or four years. ”

Tuesday night Rangers head coach John Tortorella was as angry as he has been all season with his team, using terms such as "disgusted" and "disappointed" when speaking about his players in the wake of their 3-1 loss to the Sabres up in Buffalo.

On Wednesday Tortorella provided a more upbeat tone following practice in Winnipeg, explaining how he addressed what took place the night before with his players and that the team was now moving past Tuesday's defeat. It showed in practice as the tone was spirited.
