Stepan Gets First Shortie


Derek Stepan scored his first career shorthanded goal in the second period, and now leads the team with two shorthanded points. Stepan now has four goals and four assists in his last seven games.

Cally Inches Toward 100

Ryan Callahan registered the lone assist on Stepan's goal, and is now just three assists shy of 100 for his career. The captain has eight points in his last 10 games, including five points in the last five contests.


Boyle, Stralman Get Physical

Brian Boyle finished with a game-high eight hits in 15:11 of ice time. Not to be outdone, Anton Stralman had five hits to tie his season-high. He logged 20:14 of ice time.


Haley Sets Season High

Although it was just his fifth game of the season, forward Michael Haley finished with a season-high 10:06 of ice time. His previous high came on March 8 against the Ottawa Senators when he finished with 7 minutes.


Nash's Streak Ends

Rick Nash saw his career-high 10-game point streak come to an end last night in Buffalo. During his streak, Nash racked up seven goals and nine assists for 16 points. He finished with a game-high six shots.
