Friday Postgame Chatter

“ I don't know if we got tired or what. They just kept coming harder the last ten minutes and we had a tough time. ”
- Henrik Lundqvist
“ I hadn't skated since Sunday so I didn't know how it would feel. But I'm back in it now. I didn't feel too bad, but it's hard to talk about myself right now. ”
- Brad Richards
“ We played well for stretches, but not enough. Especially at home you have to find a way to win that game. We need not to let them score, and we need to get two points at home when you are tied going into the third period. ”
- Ryan Callahan

It was a very disappointed group of Rangers following Friday's 3-2 loss to the Senators at Madison Square Garden, clearly upset by surrendering the game-winning goal late in the third period in their final home game before a four-game road trip.

After the game Henrik Lundvqist---who finished with 36 saves, Brad Richards---who returned to the lineup and scored a goal to go along with six shots on goal, and team captain Ryan Callahan---who played a feisty 22:40 and fired five shots on goal, met with reporters to discuss the loss and Richards' return from injury.
