Thursday's come-from-behind overtime victory over the Islanders was about as feel-good as it gets for the Rangers, and after the game several players discussed different apsects of what made Thursday so special at the Nassau Coliseum.
Rick Nash---who scored the tying goal and assisted on Marian Gaborik's overtime winner---spoke of the great fan support of the Blueshirts Faithful on the road; Henrik Lundqvist---who stopped 27 of 28 shots---spoke about the "rewarding" feeling this win provided everyone; and Derek Stepan---who assisted on both goals---spoke to the perseverence the Rangers displayed in pulling out this victory.
