Rick Nash continued to sizzle last night with two third period goals, including the game-winner. Nash has five goals and six assists during his seven-game point streak. He is now two games shy of his career-high, nine-game point streak.
The two goals brought Nash to seven goals on the season, all of which have come in the third period. He has 18 points in 17 games this season.
"It would be nice to get them early," Nash said when asked about his third period production. "When they're not coming in bunches, you take them any way you can get them and don't worry about when they come."
