Rick Nash extended his point streak to six games with a goal and an assist Sunday against the Buffalo Sabres. Nash has three multi-point games during the streak, scoring three goals and six assists in the six games. He is three games away from his career-high nine-game point streak, which he's done three times in his career (2005-06, twice 2010-11).

The Captain Can Shoot

 

Head coach John Tortorella recently said Ryan Callahan should get more credit for his offensive ability. Callahan supported Tortorella's claims during his shootout attempt against Ryan Miller. Callahan is now 3-for-3 this season in the shootout, and is 6-for-16 in his career.

 

The King Remains Solid

 

Henrik Lundqvist continued his strong play Sunday night, and allowed just two goals for the 10th time in his last 14 games. The King has a 1.98 goals against average and a .927 save percentage during that stretch.

 

A pair of Helpers for Gabby

Marian Gaborik had his second two-assist game of the season and his first since Jan. 26 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He has three assists in as many games.
