Rick Nash returned to the lineup firing on all cylinders Tuesday night. His 12 shots on goal were good enough for a new career-high. The 28-year-old winger also tallied his fourth goal of the season, and his third against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He also assisted on Marc Staal's second period goal, and extendedh is point streak to five games.

Hagelin Back on Track

After going three games  without a point, Carl Hagelin tallied seventh goal of the season Thursday night. Prior to the three-game point absence, the 24-year-old Swede had a five-game point streak.

Offense From the Back-end

Staal registered his second goal of the season Thursday night, and now has three points in his last four games, and eight points in his last 12 games. He has 11 points in 19 games this season after finishing with just five points in 46 games a season ago.

Ryan McDonagh had two assists against the Lightning, and has seven points in his last nine games.

Not to be outdone, Dan Girardi is riding a two-game point streak and has six points in his last nine games.

Success in the Dot

Brad Richards won 17 of 20 faceoffs (85 percent) Thursday night, his best percentage of the season. He also added an assist for his team-leading 11th assist of the season.
