Steve Eminger appeared in only his fifth game of the season for the Rangers Tuesday night---and his first since February 7th. But with the Blueshirts defense corps ravaged by injury--with Ryan McDonagh and Michael Del Zotto both sitting out---Eminger stepped into the lineup and delivered a hard-nosed effort against the Winnipeg jets.
Eminger, who was in the starting lineup alongside partner Marc Staal and who just recently was recalled from a conditioning stint in Connecticut, logged a season-hgih 20:33 of ice-time, assisted on Ryan Callahan's goal, and notched a pair of hits and blocked shots.
See what his head coach John Tortorella and fellow defenseman Michael Del Zotto were saying about Steve Eminger's effort following practice on Wednesday.
