Goaltender Martin Biron faced only 18 shots on Saturday night in Montreal, but he was put to the test right off the bat as the very first one about a minute into the game was quite challenging. Montreal's David Desharnais had this clear prime scoring chance just as fans were settling into their seats at the Bell Centre, but Biron was able to make his best save of the game---and it happened on the very first shot he faced. Biron would face only two more shots in that first period, before Montreal got more untracked with 12 shots in the middle stanza.
