Penalty Kill Finally Cracks
The Rangers penalty has been outstanding the last seven games. Heading into last night's contest, the team had killed off 17-straight penalties before going 1-for-2 against the Senators. The Rangers are 18 for their last 19 on the kill (94.7 percent).
Although it is still towards the bottom of the NHL, the Rangers powerplay has gone 3-for-15 — 20 percent — over the last four games.
