Rangers: The Blueshirts have had much recent success against the Islanders at Madison Square Garden, winning the last eight meetings between the two teams on home ice. Included in that stretch is last Thursday's 4-1 win in which rookie J.T. Miller scored his first two NHL goals. In the last eight meetings at MSG the Rangers have outscored the Islanders 35-11. The Rangers have not lost to the Isles at The Garden since a 2-0 defeat on January 14, 2010. All-time, the Rangers and Islanders have met 121 times at MSG, with the Blueshirts owning a 69-37-11-4 mark on home ice against their local New York rivals. Tonight's game will mark the Islanders final visit to The Garden this season.
