Carl Hagelin last weekend notched his first goal of the season in a Rangers 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. On Sunday night, the speedy forward was at it again, scoring this goal just 31 seconds into the game against the Lightning at Madison Square Garden. Rick Nash attracted two Lightning players off the boards, and fired a wrist shot from the slot that deflected off Hagelin's glove and into the net. Hagelin wasn't done, though, as he capitalized on rush from nearly the Rangers' end and beat Mathieu Garon to give the Rangers a 3-0 lead in the second period.
