Talking Rangers-Devils Rivalry

“ I expect a tough game against the Devils. They're a good team, and the last time we played them was a special, special series. ”
- Henrik Lundqvist
“ It's always fun to play against Marty (Brodeur) and the Devils. I love those games, the rivalry, and the intensity in the building is always great. It's special for us, and for the fans, too. ”
- Henrik Lundqvist
“ Playing against those guys (the Devils), it's always a big rivalry, especially after the playoffs last year--that was a real tough one. ”
- Marian Gaborik

The Rangers will be facing the Devils Tuesday night for the first time since losing last year's Eastern Conference Finals in six games to New Jersey. Of course with or without that series, the Rangers-Devils rivalry is already one of the better ones in the National Hockey League.

Following practice at the MSG Training Center on Monday, Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and the team's top scorer Marian Gaborik shared their thoughts and feelings on facing the Devils tomorrow and resuming the rivalry here in 2013.
