Rangers: Mike Rupp logged only 5:33 worth of ice-time Tuesday night against the Flyers, but with team captain Ryan Callahan missing from the lineup, Rupp's time on ice should creap upwards starting tonight. Only twice this season has Rupp played as many as nine minutes in a game, and it likely is something he can get used to, at least in the short run. With Callahan out the next 10-14 days, it would seem that Rupp will be among a group of forwards whose playing time will increase. At practice on Wednesday, Rupp was skating on the third line, apart from his usual fourth line partners Arron Asham and Jeff Halpern. With more ice-time comes more expectation to produce. Rupp has yet to record a point this season, after notching just four goals and an assist in 60 games with the Blueshirts a year ago.

Penguins: James Neal scored twice against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden back on January 20th. It marked the fourth straight time  that the Pens sniper had recorded a multiple-point game at The World's Most Famous Arena. Last year Neal had a pair of two-assist games at The Garden against the Rangers and one game where he scored a goal and added an assist.
