Seven Rangers took part in Tuesday's optional morning skate at the MSG Training Center, including both goaltenders---Henrik Lundqvist and Martin Biron. Lundqvist, who will make his sixth consecutive start tonight against the Flyers, will normally pass on the optional skates at home, but has been getting extra work in due to the condensed training camp and practice schedule this season, so far.
Jeff Halpern, Benn Ferriero, Stu Bickel, Steve Eminger, and Matt Gilroy also took part in the skate, with Eminger and Gilroy the likely scratches this evening as they stayed on the ice after the skate to work with Biron.
Coming off Saturday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs, the Rangers are looking to continue the positive momentum tonight, which several players spoke about the past two days.
