Rangers-Marian Gaborik: After recording his 14th career Hat Trick Wednesday night against the Bruins, Gaborik was held to only shot on goal despite nearly 21 minutes of ice-time Thursday in Philadelphia. Though he did assist on Taylor Pyatt's power play score Thursday, one can expect the proud Slovak to look for better results tonight. And facing Toronto could be a perfect tonic for Gaborik, who notched a four-goal game at The Garden against the Maple Leafs almost two years ago to the day. In 15 career matches against Toronto, Gaborik has 16 points (9-7-16).
Maple Leafs-Nazem Kadri: After several stops and starts at the NHL level the past few years, the Maple Leafs 2009 first rounder (7th overall) seems to be ready for a breakout this season at the age of 22. Kadri has recorded at least one point in each of Toronto's four games this season, and is coming off a two-point outing against the Islanders where ne notched a goal and recorded an assist. Kadri leads the Maple Leafs with three goals and five points, so far, after totaling 11 goals in 55 NHL games entering this season.
