The Rangers had to work overtime in order to win their first game of 2013 Wednesday night at The Garden, but in the end it was well worth it as the Blueshirts skated to a 4-3 OT victory over a tough Boston Bruins team.
Following the game Henrik Lundqvist---who stopped 26 shots in goal, Dan Girardi---who logged a game-high 26:47 of ice time, and Marian Gaborik---who recorded a Hatr Trick and scored the game-winning goal, discussed the important win and the major effect the No. 1 line of Gaborik, Rick Nash, and Brad Richards had on the game.
