Popular Rangers defenseman Stu Bickel made the drive from his Minnesota home to New York late last week to join fellow Blueshirts at daily informal workouts at the MSG Training Center. And though he broke through into the NHL last season as a 25 year-old rookie---subsequently earning a new contract this past summer---Bickel's focus and work ethic have not changed one iota from the days he was toiling in the ECHL and AHL.
In between his on-ice workouts this week and looking for a place to live this season, Bickel chatted with BlueshirtsUnited.com about his approach, meeting his new teammates, and getting a jump-start on the 2012-13 season.
