Prospects Talk

“ This is a huge off-season for me. I feel much more comfortable than last year and my goal is to try and make the big club. I have really paid attention to how the Rangers play---the hardest working team in the league---and I model my game after that. ”
- JT Miller
“ The jump from Junior to the AHL was a big step and definitely was an adjustment when I came up last year. And the jump from the AHL to the NHL will be that much harder, so I have a long way to go and I know it won't come easy. I'm going to have to earn it. ”
- Dylan McIlrath
“ They handed me the jersey two days ago and now here I am skating around in circles, so (the development camp) has been a wake-up call, for sure. I want to definitely make a good first impression with all of the coaches and all of the guys here. I want to show them what I am made of. ”
- Boo Nieves

A peak into the Rangers future can be had this week as the club holds its annual Prospects Development Camp at the MSG Training Center, which opened up on Monday with several rounds of on-ice fitness testing.

BlueshirtsUnited.com caught up with three of team's top prospects---2010 first round pick Dylan McIlrath, 2011 first rounder JT Miller (pictured), and 2012 second round selection Boo Nieves---after the grueling fitness tests.
