After missing all of training camp and the first 36 games of the regular season due to a concussion, Rangers defenseman Marc Staal was able to play in 66 consecutive games---the final 46 of the regular season and all 20 in the playoffs. There were definite ups and downs as Staal tried to work his way back joining a first-place team that was already in full stride of its season.
Staal's game finally started to peak in the post-season, so even though the Rangers did not quite reach the Stanley Cup Finals this spring, the team's assistant captain was left invigorated for his summer workouts and the 2012-13 season ahead.
