Game 2 Chatter

“ Obviously we wanted to try and get both in our barn, and that's what your goal is going into this game, but now that it's over we just have to put it behind us. We've been in this situation before. We know how to respond. ”
- Ryan Callahan
“ I think the first period wasn't what we wanted. Their forecheck and battles in the corners---they were coming out with more of those than we were. We battled back in the second and just weren't able to finish the job in the third. ”
- Marc Staal
“ In the first period they were the better team. The second period, we came back and made a little push. Overall we just have to be better. They wanted it a little more. ”
- Henrik Lundqvist
“ They were the better team tonight, except in the second (period). They were feeling good about themselves from the get go. It comes down to us winning battles, and we didn't do that today. ”
- Carl Hagelin
