“ It's very cool and a great opportunity, but they (Gaborik and Richards) are normal guys, really down to earth, and they have been really helpful in getting me acclimated. ”

“ It's not easy, he just got here a few days ago, and you don't practice, you just play, in the playoffs. There's no time to practice, so you go out there and figure out each other's tendencies. And I think he handled it really well. ”
- Brad Richards

Less than 24 hours after making his NHL debut in Game 3 of the Rangers-Senators opening-round playoff series Monday night in Ottawa, Chris Kreider was back on the ice practicing with his teammates Tuesday afternoon--telling reporters afterwards that "I felt good about (my debut) in retrospect."

One of the interesting aspects of Kreider's debut was that he played on the club's top line alongside All Star veterans Brad Richards and Marian Gaborik---certainly a daunting task, as well as a great opportunity, for any talented youngster in the NHL.
