The day after making his NHL playoff debut in the Rangers 4-2 Game One Victory on Thursday, Carl Hagelin had to work his way through a thick crowd of reporters at his locker following practice Friday afternoon. A standout debut had made the 23 year-old rookie a sought-after quote.
However in typical low-key fashion, Hagelin---who assisted on a Brad Richards goal, fired three shots on net, blocked two shots, and was credited with two hits over 13:51 worth of ice-time Thursday---preferred to speak about the team more so than himself.
BlueshirtsUnited.com caught up with Hagelin's veteran linemates, Marian Gaborik and Richards, to get the word on the rookie's strong post-season debut.
