Less than 24 hours ago, Rangers defenseman Dan Girardi wasn't sure if he would be chosen for the NHL All-Star Game or not, despite the remarkable season he has been having. Today, Girardi can call himself a 2012 NHL All-Star, along with teammates Henrik Lundqvist and Marian Gaborik, who have played in the All-Star Game previously during their NHL careers. The three Blueshirts were among 36 players added to the group of 42 that will comprise the All-Star rosters on Jan. 29 at Ottawa. They may or may not be All-Star teammates, depending on the results of the upcoming Fantasy Draft to pick the teams. This marks the first time since 2002 that the All-Star selections have included three Rangers players. Let us know what you think about the upcoming game and the roster choices right here.
