After all the hype leading up to this one game on the schedule, the top two teams in the Atlantic Division finally hook up outdoors in Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Ballpark this afternoon when the division-leading Rangers (23-9-4, 50 pts) face off with the second-place Flyers (22-10-4, 48 pts) at 3:00 PM. That the Rangers sit atop the division---as well as the Eastern Conference---standings is due in part to the fact that they have won both games they have played this year against the Flyers---beating their hated rivals 2-0 on November 26th and 4-2 on December 23rd, with both games played at The Garden. No doubt the Flyers will have the home-field---errr, home-ice---advantage today as more than 45,000 fans are expected in the home of baseball's Philadelphia Phillies, but the Blueshirts have vowed to block out all the extra distractions and stick to their successful game plan, which has helped them win six of their last seven games. "We got booed (Sunday at practice) when there was hardly anyone in the seats, so I am sure we will be booed (Monday)," laughed Brad Richards following the outdoor practice Sunday. "This is an important game, a divisional game, and we have to do whatever it takes to get the two points." Henrik Lundqvist, 18-10-3, 4 shuouts all-time vs. the Flyers, starts in goal for the Blueshirts this afternoon. Share your predictions on today's game below.
