A week ago today Rangers head coach John Tortorella said that he anticipated injured forward Wojtek Wolski might be ready for game action in "a week to ten days". Following an intense "bag skate" Monday at Madison Square Garden, Wolski was asked if he feels that he is close to returning to the lineup. "I'll know tomorrow, I think, because I want to see how it responds after today and how I bounce back tomorrow," answered Wolski, who has been limited to just six games this season due to sports hernia surgery. It has been a frustrating season, so far, for Wolski who came into camp vying for the left wing spot on the team's No. 1 line, but then was slowed by a groin issue before being sent for the hernia surgery. "It really feels like I have been through training camp three times already," said Wolski, who has two assists this season. "I went through it, got hurt, went through it again, got hurt again, and now just went through it again. It has seemed like four months of bag skating. It's good to get to the end of it and hopefully jump back into the lineup. Today we did some battle drills and had a really tough skate, and it was a good test for it. Tomorrow will be good to see if I can go really hard (two days in a row)." Share your thoughts on Wolski's improved health and possible return to the lineup below.
