Rangers-Penguins: The Collection

Welcome to New York. The Rangers were led by their new acquisitions Wednesday night, when they defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 6-1, at Madison Square Garden for their second straight win.

Brian Boyle opened the scoring and Ryan McDonagh added to it, but then it was all the new faces. Ryane Clowe scored his first goal of the season to make it 3-0 Rangers, followed soon after by Derick Brassard's first goal as a Ranger to make it 4-0. Clowe made it 5-1 midway through the second on the power play, and John Moore added his first as a Blueshirt to cap off the night.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 26 shots for the win, and moved ahead of Eddie Giacomin for second all-time in wins by a Rangers goaltender.
