Defenseman Marc Staal, who has been sidelined the entire season, so far, due to a concussion, went through his hardest skate yet Thursday in St. Louis, and afterwards met with reporters to discuss his health. "The last week has gone really well with the workouts I have been doing, ramping it up a little bit more," explained Staal. "It's kind of wait and see, but the feeling that I have is that the way this week has gone the rest of it should go pretty well." Staal admitted that he still has a ways to go with his conditioning and strength levels, but is most pleased that there have not been any major setbacks since he began working out again the past couple of weeks. "The unknown of it is probably the worst part because you constantly are waiting for things to happen, and if they don't it's really frustrating," added Staal. "But I have taken strides the last couple weeks and am feeling pretty good, so hopefully everything keeps going that way." Share your thoughts on this latest news with Staal below.
