After seeing their five-game winning streak snapped with a 4-2 home-ice loss to the Maple Leafs Monday, the Rangers gained a point, but still lost a 3-2 shootout to the Lightning on Thursday at The Garden. This weekend the Blueshirts look to get back on track with back-to-back games, Saturday in Buffalo against the Sabres and Sunday at MSG vs. the Florida Panthers. Following practice on Friday, Brian Boyle said that these two games are important, but not moreso than any other two games on the sechedule. "We want to get as many points as we can, it doesn't matter if we won the last two instead of losing them," said Boyle, who has seven points and a plus-four plus/minus rating in 25 games this season. "Yes, we could have played better (the previous two games), and we want to play better, but for the most part we've played well. We hate losing no matter what. And we've dropped two in a row, so we have to keep a posiitve feeling and be excited to play (this weekend)."
