Following practice at the MSG Training Center Friday---and before the Rangers took off for Buffalo---center Artem Anisimov met with the media to discuss his overzealous goal celebration which sparked a wild melee during the second period of Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Lightning at The Garden. A contrite Anisimov said, "I never do this celebration again. It's a good lesson for me. I'll do some different stuff that I have in my pocket (instead). I understand, and I apologize." Anisimov added that he addressed the team following the game, but would not divulge what he said. "It's personal," offered the third-year Russian center. "The team knows that I did not mean something bad with my celebration." A bit later Rangers head coach John Tortorella stated, "I think he's level-headed enough to know he made a mistake, and he has spoken on it, and he's just going to go back and be himself."
