Connecticut Whale forward Tommy Grant has been on a roll as of late, producing at least one point in each of his last five games, establishing a new career-high point-scoring streak in the process. Grant has four goals and an assist during his streak, and five points in eight games played on the season---tied for fifth best on the Whale.
Last season the 26 year-old Vancouver native notched 11 goals and 12 assists while playing in 72 games as a rookie with Connecticut. Included in his freshman campaign was a four-point outing on March 18 against Portland.
In addition to chatting about his recent hot streak with BlueshirtsUnited.com's Jim Cerny the other day, Grant also discussed growing a moustache for the Movember charity event---a month-long endeavor to help raise awareness for men's prostate cancer, and other male-related cancers.
