Henrik Lundqvist turned in a phenomenal 40-save shutout---the 36th of his NHL career---and the Rangers erupted for four goals in the third period to snap a 0-0 tie as the Blueshirts earned their first win of the season with a 4-0 decision over the Vancouver Canucks Tuesday night at Rogers Arena. Lundqvist stopped all 13 shots he faced in the first period, 15 in the second, and 12 in the third, and the Rangers killed off all eight Canuck power plays in the game. Mike Rupp scored off a rebound 2:22 into the third; Ryan McDonagh converted a give and go with Brandon Dubinsky at 9:57; Brian Boyle put the game away scoring off a 3-on-2 rush at 11:30; and Marian Gaborik scored off a slam dunk with 2:21 to play for the Blueshirts.
