More Of The Kids Again Tonight

The Connecticut Whale will play their second pre-season game in as many nights Thursday when they face the Sharks up in Worcester. Based on Thursday's morning skate, youngsters Christian Thomas (pictured), JT Miller, Andrew Yogan, and Kyle Jean will be among six players who played in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to Albany who will dress against Worcester. Center Michael Haley and defenseman Sebastien Piche will also play in the back-to-back games.

Miller scored the Whale's only goal on Wednesday; and during Thursday's morning skate he took line rushes with Thomas and Tommy Grant. Jean was centering a line with Yogan on one wing and Brandon Segal at the morning skate, while Haley was lined up with Ryan Bourque and Jordie Johnston. The fourth line featured Danny Hobbs, Andrew Courtney and Scott Pitt.

Piche will be joined on defense tonight by Mike Vernace, Jyri Niemi, Sam Klassen, Blake Parlett, and Colten Hayes, who is in camp on a tryout.

Scott Stajcer, the Rangers fifth round pick in the 2009 NHL Draft, starts in goal Thursday for the Whale. Kyle Rank, in camp on a tryout, will see time between the pipes, as well.

For the second straight game neither Chris Kreider nor Marek Hrivik---expected to be keys to the Whale's offense this season---will play.
