EV Zug 8 - Rangers 4

Playing in their fourth different country over a five-night span, a tired Rangers' squad was defeated by EV Zug 8-4 Monday night at Bossard Arena. The Rangers never led the game, trailing 2-0 only 5:32 into play. They did pull even 3-3 before the first period was over, but surrendered five of the final six goals of the game. Artem Anisimov had a goal and assist for New York, which also received goals from Ryan Callahan, Mike Rupp, and Ruslan Fedotenko. The Rangers closed out the 2011 pre-season with a record of 4-2-1, and will open up the regular season on Friday in Stockholm against the LA Kings. (MSG Photos)
